Cast:

Koichi Ishizu (born August 13, 1936) Born in Osaka, Koichi Ishizu was captivated by the allure of judo after witnessing remarkable judo skills at Mikunioka High School's judo club in Osaka Prefecture. As a first-generation student in the four-year Physical Education Department at Tenri University, he engaged in rigorous training with excellent teachers and peers, devoting himself entirely to judo during his university years. Since graduating in 1961, he has served as a judo club coach at middle and high schools, continuing his dedication to judo instruction.

In addition, he established the Dotokan Judo Dojo at his home in 1969, where he has garnered attention for his outstanding work instructing elementary school students in judo. His passion for pursuing judo principles is remarkable, spending his days organizing vast amounts of materials documenting daily discoveries.
