About the Instructor:
Born on December 9, 1939. In 1958, he entered Tokyo University of Science and simultaneously joined the Wadokai. In 1967, he became the head of the All Japan Karate-Do Federation Wadokai Yanagawa Dojo. He also trained overseas. In 1970, he trained under the first Grandmaster of Wado ryu, Master Otsuka, and entered the highest-level training at Mt. Koyama’s Great Penitential Training, eventually becoming a monk. He continues to practice martial arts karate, as taught by the first Grandmaster Otsuka, at the Yanagawa Dojo.
