He started learning Kalaripayattu at the age of 8, and began performing marma treatments at the age of 18. He has been in charge of teaching juniors and foreign trainees at the CVN Kalari Dojo (NAdakkav, Calicut) for many years. He has also had ample experience in teaching martial arts to famous movie actors both in India and abroad, including Jackie Chan. In 2012, he established Kalari Studio Japan to popularize authentic Kalaripayattu in Japan.
